The Euro has had a strong move up today, and was able to get above the daily resistance line, however there is
still some downward energy in that line, and although we have been as high as 128.45, we may have to revisit that
line before we pass go.
Euro 9-1-2010
September 1st, 2010 by admin No comments »Bund 8-30-2010
August 30th, 2010 by admin No comments »The Bund closed with the buystalk shut off, the first time in a long time, however the low of the pullback was 133.25,
and the target, the daily support line was further down at 132.55. So the future did not come near there, and appear
today now to be back on the move toward the 134.73 high, by putting in a 134.33 high thus far today. The Bund is the
strongest of the interest rate products, and the “bulls” are still in command.
Dax 8-30-2010
August 30th, 2010 by admin No comments »The Dax futures for a brief time this morning, had the sellstalk condition shut off at 5953.5 and shot up to the high of
the session at 5987.5. As the morning has wore on though, it has come back down below there and we once again
are in sellstalk mode. If we climb back up above 5953.5, the daily resistance line at 6040.0 will become our overall
target.
Nasdaq 8-30-2010
August 30th, 2010 by admin No comments »The key pivot today in the Nasd is 1786.50, for it is below here that the sellstalk condition comes back on today. If we
are above there, the sellstalk shuts off, and sentiment shifts to bullish, and the initial target is the daily resistance line
which is up at 1812.75. In front of there we have good resistance at 1802.75. Below 1786.50 and we go back into
sellstalk mode, and resume a bearish posture.
S&P 500 8-30-2010
August 30th, 2010 by admin No comments »The S&P 500 futures have had the sellstalk shut off today, which rolls sentiment to bullish and makes as our initial
target the daily resistance line which today resides at 1071.75, and this level should act as a “heavy” line and the
index should struggle to stay above there. Thus far this morning it has tested that area by putting in a 1072.75
high, and then falling back below there. This morning now going forward, resistance will begin at 1066.50, and on
the downside support begins at 1063.25. Note, if we can get back down around the 1053.00 support level,
sellstalk should come back on if under that price level, and we once again would resume a bearish tone below
there.
Euro 8-27-2010
August 27th, 2010 by admin No comments »The Euro currency has had the sellstalk shut off today, and this builds in a bullish sentiment now, with the daily
resistance line being the target which resides at 128.00 today. This should be the ceiling for today if it gets up there,
and you want to sell initially anything above that level.
Crude 8-26-2010
August 26th, 2010 by admin No comments »Crude oil found a low yesterday at 70.76, and is right near the key pivot level for today at 73.60, the price level
where sellstalk shuts off and sentiment rolls to positive and the daily resistance line up at 75.40 will be the target.
Below there and we take a neutral stance.
Bonds 8-26-2010
August 26th, 2010 by admin No comments »The 30 yr. Bond futures put in a high yesterday at 136.31, (3.43 yield), and then did trade lower to close lower on the
day. The obvious range today is 135.22 down to 135.09, and only under 123.31 do we shift sentiment to the
DAX 8-26-2010
August 26th, 2010 by admin No comments »The Dax futures were as low as 5836.5, but by the close had come up and put in a high at 5957.5. This morning use
5925.0 as your main pivot in sentiment. On the downside the main support is at 5870.0.
S&P 500 8-26-2010
August 26th, 2010 by admin No comments »The S&P futures finally put it in gear yesterday afternoon, and broke above the resistance block of 1053.25-1054
and put in a high at 1057.75. Today we will use basically that same block of prices, but as support, and I expect
that it will take some work to get through there and remain under there at least initially. If “claims” is real bad, that
could also possibly do it, like last weeks poor number. That leaves only upside, but we are in sellstalk still and
need to get above 1065.75 for clear air, and somewhere around 1070.00 does sellstalk come off. The daily
resistance line at 1075.50 will be stern resistance.
